THE STORY OF OLIVIA QUINTON PHOTOGRAPHY

Hey, y'all, Olivia here. My story started as a lonely 8 year old from a broken home somewhere in Oregon who got lucky. I mean it, it was sheer luck! (okay....maybe some hard work and dedication, too). My mother enrolled me in a summer art camp and as soon as a camera was placed in my hands, I knew, I KNEW it would become the greatest passion of my life.

I was blessed with many opportunities to study and apprentice several of the best photographers in the Pacific Northwest and was blessed even further to earn a scholarship to Southern Oregon University to study, you guessed it - Photography!

In the early days of my career I worked with film in a darkroom and then made the transition to digital photography. Since then I have been honored with awards and publications but mostly with the honor of capturing history and meeting some of the most incredible people in the process.

For 10 years after college, I maintained a newborn photography studio in the heart of Central Oregon and then a couple years ago embarked on a new journey that brought me to middle southern Tennessee. I live here with my best friend and partner, Jay, and our herd of domestic animals (mostly cats and dogs).
